This policy explains what information Appear Online collects, why we use it and how you can ask about the information we hold.

When you use our enquiry form, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, website or social media details, help needed, readiness to invest, consent to be contacted and any additional information you choose to provide.
If you contact us by phone or email, we collect the contact details and information you provide during that communication.
Google Analytics tracking is not currently installed on this website. If we introduce it, we will update this policy to explain what information it collects and how that information is used.
We may also use Google Search Console to understand how the website appears in Google Search, including search terms, page impressions, clicks and general device or location data. We use this information in aggregate to improve the website and its visibility.
We use your information to review and respond to enquiries, arrange calls, prepare quotes, provide requested services, keep records of our communications, operate the website and improve its content and performance. We do not sell your personal information or use enquiry details for marketing subscriptions.
We may share information with service providers that help us run the website and respond to enquiries, such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics and business software providers. We use Resend to deliver enquiry emails.
These providers may process information on our behalf and may store it in Australia or overseas. We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep enquiry and communication records only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified where practical.
